This sport is growing here and the hills above us have riding for all grades. The scree slopes of Sgurr Mor and Forestry Commision trails provide exciting and varied terrain. 

The local Skye and Lochalsh Area Mountain Bikes (SLAM) group have been lobbying for specialist trails around Balmacara. New routes are planned, funding is in place and we will post details shortly. In the meantime, the best plan is to pick one of the many dotted trails marked on the Ordnance Survey map and head out on a single track trail or backroad.

We have washing and drying facilities which may come in handy!
